Meet Tiley Elliot and Neyland Darnell... our 2019 SUMMER INTERNS!
"My name is Tiley Elliott. I am a sophomore kinesiology major at Freed-Hardeman University. I am from Madison Georgia where I attend the church of Christ at Madison. I am an active member of Xi Chi Delta. I have served as sophomore class representative and a community service representative. I was an interface leader for the last incoming freshman class and enjoyed welcoming them to the FHU family. Now I am the new kid on the block and could not be more excited to serve you! You have already made Neyland and I feel so welcomed and loved. We have been praying for this summer and for you. We can’t wait to watch you grow the Kingdom and make some silly memories in between. Let’s get this summer started!"
"Hi, everyone! My name is Neyland Darnell and I am super excited to be one of Graymere's next interns. I am a junior nursing major at Lipscomb University. My life right now is filled with lots of clinical hours and lots of studying hours, but I am thankful for the placement and connections I have made at Vanderbilt University Medical Center through Lipscomb. I am from Chapel Hill, TN and grew up with JD as a youth minister at the Chapel Hill congregation. I have a huge spot in my heart for ministry, and last summer I was blessed to serve at the church of Christ at Chapel Hill. I look forward to using what I learned last year this summer at the Graymere congregation and learning more from so many of you. At Lipscomb, I serve as the Class Representative to the Junior Nursing class and serve on the Presidential Ambassador Council. When I am not studying, I enjoy journaling and reading the Bible, riding around and singing with friends, playing volleyball or cards, and watching the Preds and Vols play. Tiley and I are so excited to meet the rest of you and get to work this summer. We had a blast the short time we got to spend with you all at camp and look forward to a summer with you all. We will be praying for you and thank you again for this opportunity. See you all soon!"
